Shin Wound Feels Strange

I Had a fall last Wednesday, resulting in 2 deepish "U"shaped wounds on my shin, a similar one on my forearm, and badly bruised my ribs.
Went for a dressing change on Tuesday, the arm one is knitting together quite nicely, I guess the ribs will take a few weeks to heal, but the shin one is bothering me today. It doesn't hurt as such, but I'm getting these tingly/creepy-crawly feelings in it.
Is this normal for wound healing? The wounds are one above the other on the shin, and about 7cm across a roughly circular shape.

No big deal perfectly normal feelings for a wound healing process.

Just to add, the dressing is like a huge padded elastoplast, which is meant to stay on a week before I go back to get it re-dressed on Tuesday, hence I dare not lift it to have a look.

Thank you Squad, I was fearing all sorts.
The shin problem may take longer to heal as in that particular area, the skin is very thin, particularly in the over 65's.
