Hi everyone,
Three or four years ago my husband and I did the NC500 in our campervan. We dont have the van now but would love to do the trip again in our car using last minute B &Bs and Air B&Bs. Has anyone done this and is it viable to do it this way? Any help would be appreciated

The official website says that booking accommodation in advance is essential, even during the quieter times of the year. So it might be wisest not to rely upon being able to make last minute bookings:

I'm going to say thanks for that, Buenchico. Mr. J2 and I have wanted to do the N500 for a couple of years, before age/health precludes and I was wondering about booking accommodation.

Thanks for that. Guess we would have to be prepared to divert on and off the route in that case. We're not too good at having regimented trips, rather see where it takes us. At least we have done it once and it was fantastic, highly recommend doing the trip
