morning, Thursday already, the week is rolling along, i hope you are all in good health and that your day is a pleasant one. Do you have any plans for today? I am about even earlier than normal as sleep has eluded me for a few hours, so if i go silent, some chance, its because i have fallen asleep over the keyboard.........

the forecast for the capital is a high of 25c partly sunny skies, oh good.

Same here Emmie - if I go silent it’s because sleep has caught up with me. Awaiting boiler guys at 8am to replace this boiler so have no idea if they will turn up on time.

Yes scaffolding went up in prep for today.

No, 2 different companies lol - one purely does scaffolding.

Morning, all. Sunny and 25 here later on today. My 4 tomato plants on the balcony are enjoying all the warm sunny weather and are producing lots of fruit ranging in size from small grapes to golf balls. In another 4 to 5 weeks I should have a bumper crop.

One of my favourite smells is the one on my fingers after picking the suckers (unwanted shoots) off tomato plants!

mine is new mown grass, delicious.

Also, the smell of the side-walk or road surface after a brief rain-shower on a hot Summer day.

i have a hankering and will probably go out early to have an English breakfast, there is a decent cafe across the way who do them. I haven't had one for ages, so am looking forward to it.

Is that the so-called "full English breakfast" with all kinds of items such as black-pudding, mushrooms, baked beans, fried mashed potatoes etc, etc, etc?
