Good morning,
Can you please help?
I work as a manager at an out of school club and I have recently worked overtime, earning myself an extra £75.
At the time, my boss told me verbally that he would pay me the extra money. However, the extra money has not been paid in this months wages.
What would you do? How would you handle the situation?
Please advise.
Many thanks.

Ask your manager - it may be in next month's wages.
I would just mention in passing that you didn't get your overtime in this month's pay; it could be that the overtime period is not the same as the normal pay eg, it might run from the second week of the month to the second week of the following month.
Just tell him you believe there is a mistake with your wages.
We have a cut off point of the middle of the month so upto the 15th we get overtime in that months pay but after the 15th it's the month after. Do you clock on? Do you sign in? Hopefully you do (incase of fire etc) just so you have some evidence. I'd just ask did you put the overtime through for me, it hasn't appeared? Fingers crossed the manager is approachable and understanding.
I may be in next months wages. If it is not, send him a polite email enquiring about receiving the payment.
