I’d have like to have gone into Travel I think, for a few years now I’ve organised holidays for family & friends, booking flights and getting accommodation etc and I’ve really enjoyed doing it, even this year with vaccine certs and locator forms which aren’t require now.
What would you like to have done or did you do it?

I jumped off one bridge too many and was forced to accept a medical discharge. Shattered ankle.
i seriously wish id done more sex while i had the ability/will. No-one tells you that your sex drive waxes and wanes over time and as a perimenopausal woman, sex becomes like climing a mountain - you don't want to do it, it's a right effort but you do feel pleased when you acheive the summit!
Played a Piano or clarinet brilliantly
Learn many more things. Become skilled at many more things. But lack of enthusiasm, amongst other issues, was always going to be a hurdle.
I wasn't allowed to do what I really longed to do so I can't regret that.

My regret is not very nice I'm afraid, Bobbi.
I regret forgiving my mother for what she put me through and for caring for her when she developed Alzheimer's.

p.s. In case you miss it there is a link to your birthday on Campbellking's thread. :-)
Stopped responding to Gulliver’s posts from day one.
Never regret being a decent person gness. It's credit in the karma bank.
I regret not persevering when trying to learn how to play the guitar back in the 70s. I may just try again now that i am 80% retired:-)
Regrets, I've had a few
But then again, too few to mention
I did what I had to do
And saw it through without exemption
After dropping out of uni in the 60s I shoulda stayed in London & got a job in finance.
Thanks, OG....but I'd like to have told her that I found out, far too late, that things that happened to me, and puzzled me, were down to her selfish, attention seeking lies.
I regret not walking away from my mother sooner.
I regret not pushing the drs to investigate my infertility
I regret not telling my dad I love him more often
if doesn't sound as though you have forgiven her, gness, which I can well understand; outside of religion, we're under no obligation to forgive harm done to us. But as OG says, don't regret caring for her. Good or bad, it got you where you are today - a better person than your mother, and apparently leading a happy life. That's not always easy to attain.
