Who's quiz is it? A little bit more information please.
I have thrown the quiz away as like you it doesnt make sense.I put some answers in and they didnt relate to the instructions
Oh dear, it sounds difficult!
Glad I am not the only one having problems
This is the Consett Lions quiz.

Setter added

"Question numbers represent the days of Christmas and the letters represent the gifts given on that day. The answers to the questions can be found in those gifts. If in doubt sing the song!!!!!!!

NB only one answer needs to include the number "

I've given up trying to match the answers to the 12 days - perhaps once I've got more answers then it might make the connection to the 12 days clearer.
The quiz answers are all using letters from the twelve days of Christmas individual lines
All the answers marked a) can be made from letters from the first gift ie: a partridge in a pear tree.
All the answers marked b) can be made from the letters from the second gift turtle doves
c) from third gift etc.etc.

Hope this helps
I still can’t make head nor tail of it. I don’t want to give up but I just can’t understand it. Please can someone help…
Hi Again
If you look at Question 1a) the answer is made up from letters from the first gift of the 12 Days of Christmas namely "A partridge in a Pear Tree"
Questions numbered 2a and 2b can be answered from the first and second gifts from the song. 2a letters for the answer are from " A Partridge in a Pear Tree and 2b) can be answered with letters from the second gift
Questions numbered 3a)b)c) can be answered from each of the first three gifts.
I found it easier to write next to the clue number the gift line where the letters for the answer will come from.
So for 1a,2a,3a, and all other a's the letters for the answer come from the first gift letters - so I wrote 1 (A partridge in a pear tree)
2b,3b,4b and all other b's the letters come from the second gift (turtle doves)
3c,4c and all other c's the answers use the letters from the 3rd gift (French Hens.)
I'd figured out that eg. 5 also meant 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 etc. but now with the hint that its using the letters might help!
And remember that this is a "no asking" quiz.

Thank you all for your explanations. I don't feel quite so stupid now.

Yes I realise that it is a no asking quiz pulse which it was why I said 'I'm not looking for answers'
