morning, wednesday and the week is flying by, i trust that you are well and in good spirits, and that your day is a pleasant one, whatever you are doing.
i have only in the last while taken to marmalade, as long as it's no peel type, i love it with bread and butter, or on toast. I find most jams too sweet.
i have been trying my best to find a lovely sweater i bought a while back, amongst all the stuff i have stored it's no where to be found - i want it for Christmas, as its a fair isle sweater and will look nice.
Funny how tastes change as life goes by.
Some things I used to wolf down like they are going out of fashion I can't even look at these days.
A symptom of aging .
Sob sob ;-)
tastes do change i agree, i wouldn't look at marmalade once, now i love it, i still can't eat curries of any description, make me nauseous, and coriander, cumin and other spices have me reeling, i can't stand heavily spiced foods.
You shopaholic you ;-)
My mum used to be a keen knitter.
I have a fairisle, hand knitted jumper, pure wool , 30 years old now in pristine condition.
And I know exactly where it is!
i will either have to pull the whole lot out or leave well alone, which is what i will probably do. I used a torch to search, even though there is a light bulb in the room, but to no avail.
i love Fairisle jumpers, i bought one for Christmas day, as a special treat. I always buy something for Christmas as i don't get too many birthday gifts, boo hoo.
i was lucky as a child as i always got two presents off everyone, we had a large extended family then, but parents divorced and money was tight. I usually get gifts from friends, like prosecco for Christmas. I don't mind as it's a time for children.
