I have solved this puzzle.
The only clue I cannot parse is:

Hamish’s to walk unsteadily having at first slurped drappie (4)

I have the answer to walk unsteadily but have no idea what a synonym for drappie is.

Again learned something new. Finding out things about the last row was a blast.
Thanks Eclogue.

Thank you both.
Hankir, thanks. Your crosswording will be extending your Scottish vocabulary, I hope you get a chance to use some of these nice words!
S(lurped)+TOT (the 'i' is dropped from K(i)TE - the entry directly above).
It's odd that 'stoit' and 'stot' have virtually the same meanings but Chambers doesn't link them, although it gives 'styte' as an alternative.

Thanks ProfessorM. I had stot.

I have a Scottish friend in Glasgow. He does not do crosswords.
Sometimes when I ask him about words appearing in crosswords, he is surprised saying he has never used that word(s).
