Amazon Item

I have received several emails re the above and it has said that the item has been delivered since 26 Feb and I received another one this morning (to the local post office).

I have been round to post office but there is no item. Can that happen?

Have contacted them Amazon to say that it hasn't arrived. I've actually got a tracking number and it says as well that it has been delivered.

Where do they say it has been delivered to? It might have been left with a neightbour? Amazon don't use the post office I don't think. it's usually Hermes.

I would insist with Amazon that you didn't receive it.
I have had Amazon deliveries left on the doorstep while I was out that weren't there when I got home!

chelle - Amazon email and tracking number have actually given me the number and name of the road that the post office is on and it is supposed to be there. I'll see what Amazon says in an email - I hope.

I actually phoned another post office which isn't too far away from the first post office I mentioned thinking it could have been left there but they have also said no. I;m probably coming across as anxious but I'm not worried about the Amazon thing - just have an interview in an hour's time and I'm getting worked up about that.

got "chatting" to a virtual assistant - it has said to leave it until Thursday - it thinks delivery details have been given too soon, if it doesn't arrive by Thursday I can order it again so that's all ok.

This is just one reason I find Amazon Prime invaluable...order something as late as 9pm-ish and it's delivered by Amazon (in an Amazon vehicle) next morning/lunchtime...never had a delivery problem yet.

Jj do they mean that if it's not there on Thursday, they will send another FOC? Ask for proof of delivery if it's not there.

I didn't see it but I heard it. It as a cross between an explosion and thunder. It was supposedly over Cheltenham and we are about 25 miles away from there.
It was really loud and we had the tv on.
