Please put me out of my misery with the parsing of these
a. Pitch unsuitable for selling this domestic hardware. Ans white goods
b. Moving left as an unduly hasty driver appears here? Ans fast lane
c. Assess progress made in road transport system Ans Test drive
d. Some answers to this problem found here in Somerset? Ans Street

I've spent ages on a and b and got nowhere
c. Might just be (imho ) a poor cryptic
d. I can see that Somerset starts with s and ends with t but can't see the instruction to lose the omerse.

I can't believe I missed that !
d. Street is a Somerset village, not sure that helps much.
c (to) assess = TEST
(to) progress (an idea, plan, offensive) = DRIVE
a - pitch is black, so 'unsuitable'.
d - 'some'+STREET (the clue answer) = anag 'Somerset' [and Street is a town in Somerset as Mamyalynne has mentioned].
... no, there's an extra 't' in that anag, sorry!
