Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

A well judged puzzle for this weekend, I thought. Hard enough to satisfy the regulars (with plenty of thematics too) but accessible enough for anyone who fancies a go at something new over the holidays.

Some nice clues and a few red-herrings in the omitted words - all in all very satisfying.

I agree, this was pitched at just the right level for a Christmas puzzle. Vismut's puzzles are always fun and thought-provoking, and this was no exception. Perhaps one of the grid changes can be seen as giving an inaccurate form of one of the words in the second work, but it's obvious what's going on so it doesn't matter too much. Merry Xmas all.

About halfway through the endgame so still some way to go. On another tack I occasionally (about once a year) set a easy Listener-style crossword for my family and have just put one together for them.
