9, 11 "Weasel's relative..." (4, 6)... I got the answer straight away but for the life of me I can't parse it. Help please?

The entire clue might help people here. (Not everyone reads the Grauniad!) It appears to be "Weasel's relative staff and I put back in absurdly long hole?"

Weasel's Relative, staff and I put back in absurdly long hole (4,6)

Pine Marten (weasels relative) = Men (staff) + I "reversed" inside a Par Ten (an absurdly long golf hole)

For non-golfers - the longest holes in golf are par fives (a good golfer should take 5 strokes on these) so to have to take ten would mean an absurdly long hole. Yes - undoubtedly PINE MARTEN.
