Many thanks Lie-in King!!!
Lie in king, I did get Estragon but is it a fair clue to have the definition and anagram fodder the same?
Hi herbage - it's fair, as it's an "&lit" ("and literally so"), where the clue as a whole functions as the definition & wordplay.

Here, Estragon is ultimately confounded when Godot is a no-show.
