Here is an e-mail I received (doctored for anonymity and links removed) which is an obvious SCAM.

Dear Canary,
Last week, your friend recommended you as a product tester at one of our local stores. We think, you will give some valuable feedback and at the same time we have a price on the line - our participants have the chance to choose between various articles. I've tried calling multiple times but I think we might have the wrong number...

Can you guess why I'm sending this email, Alan?

I'm pleased to inform you, that you have been selected for the ALDl rewards program - CONGRATULATIONS. Of course, you need to verify your address and other details, but you can do that by clicking here.

You can get started right away and your package will be on its way before you know it.

Continue [this was also a link]

Have a GREAT day, Canary!

Kind regards,

Anna Johnson - ALDl

Ooops, never mind.
I tried clicking here but nothing happened ?
They are definitely getting better, if the standard of English is that good. About the only line that would make me suspicious is

"We think, you will give some valuable feedback and at the same time we have a price on the line"

I don't believe you would break up a sentence between the words think and you and the end of the line doesn't make a lot of sense either. I could see someone falling for this one - I'd rather be wrong about that...
