I think as it is 'provisionS' then it would have to be 'scrapS'

So I'd go with scran - is that a typical Scottish word?

Thank you both. SCRAN is from Northumberland but it fits the bill!!!
Yes I'm aware of the definition and use of the word in certain parts of the UK; I think the Factfinder is a Scottish publication so just asking if 'scran' is commonly used there.
Just checked my Scots glossary and scran is shown as scraps of food.

Not in common use but I am aware of it in NE England....which is not too far away!!!
