So relieved to hear that all the puppies have been saved, and that potentially the culprit(s) has/have been caught and identified.

I am so delighted to read that the puppies have been found. I cried a bit for the sad looking mother and the thought of the puppies in the hands of such callous and uncaring criminals. And yes, I would indeed call it the most important story of the week.

Some sick people around.
glad they found them, but I wouldn't call it the most important story of the week x
Well done, the GMP.
Despicable crime, so glad they are reunited, poor Zena.
The burglars took a mobile phone which was later recovered (with the puppies).
They might have well have written down their address and left it at the burglary scene. All phones are easily trackable.
The burglers were black and hooded.

Blimey...that's a surprise!
Instead of taking pictures of the poor Mum dog's nasty wound, she should be at the vet's having it attended to ..

So relieved to hear this. I was horrified when I read the story this morning but didn't hold out much hope. Thanks for posting Jim, phew.
However, I hope they stop breeding from her now. We have more than enough dogs desperate for a home without adding to the problem.
I'm really glad to hear that. I saw this this morning, but didn't know they had been found. I hope they are all ok now.
I am so glad they are all reunited. The culprit(s) should have the book thrown at them.
A harrowing story with a happy ending, I'm glad to say.

Yes very rare these days for the Police or the media to announce the criminal's skin colour, unless of course they happen to be white.

Hope you're right webbo.

anyway surely that should read: - - 'collared'
ter daah !
Moston?! Harpurhey?! Even PP wouldn't go there! They were probably saved from the cooking pot!
erm I live in Ha]rpurhey
but like Mrs Bouquet - I have worked hard to persuade people I live in the more up market Newton Heath

[really only Clarion can savour the full import of that]
viet dog soup anyone?
pit bulls?

yeah wivver ickle puppies stoled,
the nursing botch had only a leg to chew on ....
Well, you persuaded me, PP!
PP, what was the name of that school that used to be on Rochdale Road, next to the bottom Derby, opposite Queens Park? Someone asked me t'other day and I couldn't remember. After going past it hundreds of times too.
