I think it's a rather casual word - nada, zip, zero....
It's a Spanish word.
I thought it was Spanish for 'nothing'. Is it not?
Sorry, I meant 'casual' as in slang, people in Britain use it at times.
I don't.
I have never used it myself. It is given - as an ordinary word (ie not marked 'Spanish' as 'au revoir' is marked 'French') in Chambers. The definition is 'nothing, nothingness' .
