Tv Backlight Element Is Showing Through The Screen.

I knocked my TV off the unit, it fell forward and thankfully didnt break.

however now, visible on the screen is what i assume is the back light element.
it shows through the picture, like bright lines going across the screen then curving back across, all the way down

when i lean the tv back just a small amount - 1cm, they disappear.

I am assuming the element has shifted forward in the fall and is now too close to the screen. when i picked it up, i heard a noise like something inside like a few little bits of plastic falling down

ive wedged it so it leans but one line is still visible at the bottom

what can i do about this? will it permanenly ruin the screen? Like burn it or something?

does the screen need to be adjusted or can i leave it?

thanks

With such damage there is a fire risk.
You could take the back off and have a look, if you're confident about doing such things. There's probably nothing you can do but you might as well try. Don't leave the TV plugged in when you're not watching, I agree with WB.
