Happy New Year to you all! May it bring you much happiness.

I am sure that many of you will have finished this crossword a good while ago but I cam to it a bit late. I found it very enjoyable and certainly challenging. It has a theme for several clues of religious festivals (I think). And I think that one of the two that I am asking about is one of these. If it is, "it lacks a definition", according to the rules.
The clue is "Hygiene problem treated with hospital visit, yes". (5,3)
I have B???I/d?y . So, if it is a festival "Bahai Day" would fit. Bahai involves religious belief but is there such a festival? I can see h for hospital and ay for yes. But nothing else.
The next clue is "No initial disposition to make careless mistake. " If Bahai is right then I have n?h. The only thing I can think of is noh but that's to do with drama rather than mistakes, isn't it? Nod might be to do with mistakes but that would make the clue above b?d?i. Help!!

I have one more, not connected with the ones above.
"Demanding person makes girl take against Academy " I have ?i?a

I'd be very glad for some help please.

I would say 'Hygiene problem' = BO, so would be looking towards 'Boxing day'?

It can't be "boxing " sir as it only has five letters.
Diva looks good though so thanks for that

Sorry Alan, must have got carried away there. ;))
Bohdi Day
BO + H(ospital) in DID (treated) | AY (yes)

Thank you Calibax. Perfect!
I assume therefore that the connecting word (see my original post ) is "noh". Is that right?
Alan
Sorry for typo - should be Bodhi Day.

Ah ! So Nod is correct?
Hope my mistyping didn't con fuse you. Should it be NOD? (err - as in Even Homer nods)

That's it! Thank you all so much. There's something peculiarly satisfying, I find, about completing crosswords. Even if it is with the help of people like yourselves rather than totally personal effort
Thanks to you all.
