I'm looking at a gift subscrption for the Radio Times. Its expensive in my opinion but its what the recipient has asked for.

Can I do any better than £60 for 6 months? Can anyone find any current offers that better the price? I dont want to commit to direct debit.

There used to be a lot of deals around, now I just pay by DD both for my own and a running gift sub.

Thanks Wolf but that offer epired 2016.
Or £49.99 for a single payment.
The current Radio Times has 6 months for £65, but you will receive a £50 John Lewis gift-card. However, it is by Direct Debit which you can cancel "at any time".
If interested, can be done online .....buysubscriptions.com/RTP4618
Correction......this offer^^^can be for a single payment of £60 too and get your £50 JL gift card....
A cracking offer, ginge - but (in my region at least) the 'added extra' is only on the Direct Debit option?
s-d...have just tried all regions and I get the option of £65DD or £60 single payment for all of them......
But the text saying "+ Added Extra" is only under the red wording saying 'Save 21%' for the DD option - not under the 'Save 29%' for the single payment?
s-d.....absolutely correct....wasn't that obvious to me, though!
No - quite obscurely worded I thought.

Slightly off topic, but how did you find the offer - are there any other mags it applies to?

Just had lunch.....the offer was in the current edition of Radio Times (which we pay full price for each week!) and no other sub offers mentioned.
....although there are subscription deals on other mags, here.....

No JL gift cards though!
Thanks Ginge

Thank you I have saved a tenner. The same website but different prices is all very odd, but I settled for 6 months for £49.99, which I had only seen for £60. I really didn't want to set up a direct debit and have to cancel it later, although the £50 JL offer was tempting, this suited me perfectly.
did you get the option of subscribing for the right region?

Have you signed up now Ginge?

I did thank you jno, there was a drop down menu and I chose the region for the recipient. Then came my details followed by their details as the recipient for gift membership.
