Not sure Jo.How do you get making?
Question Author
L-i k, any ideas please.
I can see here as present but can’t parse the rest
A cut would be made to make a vent? It's the Express, Danny - nothing makes sense :-)))

If made is presented (as in 'made a speech) and you cut it twice (getting 'presente' then 'present') you get a word meaning 'here'. ???
For me the pre comes from pare being cut to pre. That leaves sent meaning made and here being the clue for present. Does that shed any light?
^^^ I worked it out the same, Cut PRE a second Cut. If you're made to do something you are SENT. Here - Present.
Second thoughts, the is better so I 'give way'
P(a)re sent
I think present is the best fit for this one,
Thanks everybody
