4 Countryside Quiz No2. Cost £1 in aid of Brompton and Sawdon CP School. Answers include flora, fauna, farming etc. (cryptic or anagram) Closing date 14th September 2018.
5 SUMMER quiz in aid of the Romanian Aid Foundation. Mixture of 60 questions - 30 questions with the colour RED in the answer, 15 questions on films with a colour in the title and 15 questions on words associated with summer. Closing date 15th September 2018.
6 Children 1st Linkword quiz. 27 link word clues with the 28th being the clue to the answers. Closing date 22nd September 2018.

16 ‘Ends in GE’ Quiz (one word answers). In aid of Treetops Hospice Care. 30 questions – all answers are ONE WORD that END in GE. e.g. vegetable…answer…cabbaGE Closing date 26th October 2018.
17 Blesma Place Names Quiz. All of the answers are the names of places in Great Britain. Closing date 31st October 2018.

18 St Mary's, Blackpool BQ23 quiz. In aid of hall refurbishment. 90 Questions in six sections plus 30 pictures to identify. Closing date 30th November 2018.
19 It’s All Greek To Me. Raising money for Water Aid. All answers are people/animals, real or imaginary, who are Greek or of Greek extraction. Closing date 30th November 2018.

“It’s All Greek To Me”. Raising money for Water Aid. Transforming lives by improving access to safe water, hygiene and sanitation. All answers are people/animals, real or imaginary, who are Greek or of Greek extraction. Quiz sheets are a suggested minimum donation of £1.00. Prize of £10 for the entry with the most right answers. In the event of a tie spellings will be taken into account and all correct entries will be entered into a draw. Prize of £5 will be selected at random from all entries. The closing date for entries is 30th November 2018. Quiz available from Shirley Eastman. 48, Rosemead Drive, Oadby. I was lucky enough to launch this year’s ChildLine Annual Quiz with the Founder of ChildLine, Dame Esther Rantzen, when I met her at the opening of the new ChildLine Call Centre in Nottingham; following the expansion of the service with new premises just to the north of the city.
Dame Esther has picked winners from our previous Quizzes and commented “I am delighted to meet with Jonathan again and to help to launch this year’s Quiz... and I have to give credit to all those who take part each year and manage to solve this very difficult Quiz. I know Jonathan gives us all the answers, but it is still very difficult to work out how the answers match the clues. I hope that it is a huge success again and helps to raise at least the £2000 that was donated last year”.
So, I thought that you may wish to enter our latest ‘brain buster’ to tax those grey matter cells!!! As with our previous Quizzes, all of the answers are on the last page!, ……but not in the correct order….. you just need to be able to work out how the ‘clever’ clues can give you one of the ‘Puzzles or Games’ answers.
The Quiz is set to last throughout the winter months and over the Christmas period. It will be ideal to bring out with family and friends once all the turkey has been eaten and the conversation is ‘running dry’! Many entries received last year were from those who took the Quiz with them on holidays over Half Term and New Year! - hence numerous entries from all over the World…
