Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Thank you so much, Captain2! I was convinced my E was correct, but now I see it has to be an M, and it makes perfect sense - now to tackle the left-hand side of the puzzle again!

I can see the definition and the PRO and L, but how does brother give us MY please- (unless the clue said BOTHER?)

The 'support' bit is FOR, Fiction, not PRO. I had met 'brother' as a US expression, but had forgotten about it until Captain2 gave me the answer.

Yes, sorry- I meant to say FOR as in PRO/Supporting. (Clearly there is no PRO in FORMYL).
I have checked the paper and found there was an extra word (letter) in the clue

It reads OK to me, fiction-factory - I just couldn't work it out - not helped by having put the wrong ending on 24ac - I mixed up my singular and plural there.

PS Though I was doinfg it online - maybe the paper version is slightly different.
