I don't know what I am going to do when the Independent ceases producing a paper copy on 26th March. Personally I think they are mad.

Of the main broadsheets on teh weekends (Tel, Times, Grauniad, Observer) which one should I go for?

All advice would be appreciated.

For weekends I always do the Sunday Times crosswords including the Mephisto. The last named may appear very hard but there is a website by Frogman which helps out on the answers.
Enigmatic Variations in The Sunday Telegraph.
I'm sure the Indy will continue to produce online versions of their crosswords.
I don't know if they are planning to charge a subscription or be advert funded.
I buy the Times on a Saturday for the jumbo cryptic, I throw the paper itself to MrAc

They will all be gone before long. They seem to have missed the of why 9m people buy a paper copy. Giving so many away for free has proven to be slow suicide for the entire market. I for one can't be arsed doing crosswords on a computer
You don't have to do them 'on the computer'. They are printable so can be done wherever you want
Get the sister paper the 'i', splendid puzzles, bought out by Johnstone Press (owners of the Yorkshire Post among others) and more reasonably priced than most. Highly recommended - excellent paper, no Sunday edition unfortunately.
