Your help appreciated in parsing a clue ...
26a Garden feature stood out unusually in leaves(4).
The letter pattern is "s_e_" ... which indicates the answer is "shed" = garden feature.
I can see that 'shed' and 'leave' might be considered synonymous , and we might take the 's' out of leaves to get there ...ie stood out ... but this is really tortuous.
Any ideas?

Yes shed = leave ... but shed leaves
