Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

The grid seems quite normal today with no unusual spellings. Is any one else having problems submitting their solution on-line ???

I am, I think I've got it right and I've doubled checked spellings and my usual typos....but it's not having it!

Thanks belido - I was beginning to doubt myself. I have double checked all my entries as well and it just will not have it and I have justified every answer.

Dominie seems to be the lad who's in the know, he usually posts if something's wrong on-line......so maybe we have missed something after all.

I too am having a problem. Like you I have checked thoroughly and can't find any errors...

Have been checking all my answers but will not submit I have doubts about shankss pomny as it should have an apostrophe which is notossible on a tablet. Will have to wait for next week for the answers to appear in the paper. Regards to all with a degree of disappointment.

There was one the other week where the number of letters specified for a clue didnt match the correct answer spaces. Maybe see if they`ve done that again.
Is it the cryptic prize one - havent done that yet.

UK Bod - yes it's today's cryptic - 15,060 - all the answers seem normal and justifiable and fit. I remember the one you are referring to - I think the correct grid entry was "the sound of music" but music had six spaces.
