Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Does any one know if there is supposed to be an EV today ???

The ST website still has "The Square and Compass" from last week and carries a message that there will not be one on the 28th.

Cannot recall seeing any messages about today though.

It's not been released on the website yet apparently -- seem to remember one or two recently being similarly slightly late to be uploaded.

It's now up online, although you need to be on the EV sub-board, ie click through to:

and it should be there.

But also I have just noticed that the web site actually says there will not be one on the 28th December ---- 2008 !!!! I think there must have been too much rum in the punch at the Telegraph office party.

Good Afternoon All. Still haven't finished 1153 yet but have enjoyed this one nice run up to Christmas, not one on 28th......................not good! Any compilers handy? Can we kidnap the EV Ed and threaten him until he produces one?

The message about there being no EV on the 28/12/08 has been around for ages and is perhaps worth moving at some point. Say, five years ago. But never mind.

Today's EV is hopefully entertaining rather than difficult. Set by "Charismatix" but the style of grid is clearly Samuel's from his "jokey puzzle" series.
