Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Guardian Genius 127 Java Problem Urgent

I managed to print Genius a mth ago, and now need to enter my solutions and submit. However getting Application Blocked (Java) and can't get Java to activate. Have consulted my brother and no luck. I use Mozilla and tried Internet Explorer - still no luck. Help!

I can't see the Feb genius there - I stll have the Jan one, but have application blocked the same as you!

I have e-mailed Guardian but not expecting them to fix it in time ...

This has happened before - if you go to Guardian Crosswords homepage it is already showing current Genius dated 4 Feb! (Although that one is NOT available, it has crossed over with and blocked the January one which closes officially in 14 hours - I am in NZ, so I suppose if they have fixed it by 11am tomorrow my time, will still have chance!)

you may need to change the java security level just while you load the crossword - control panel - java , brings up the java control panel, click on security tab and lower the level to medium and apply.
