All done, except could some kind person explain the wordplay in two clues:
45 across Optics start to empty in Glaswegian joints (4) (an 's' needs to be removed) I think it must be eyes.
5 down: Cannons point out group of stars (7) ? is it serpens?

sey = Scottish for part of a carcase ie 'joint', so s(e)yes minus the s = eyes

It must be serpens as a group of stars & presumably the wordplay is a word for cannons less eg E/N/S/W/PT but I couldn't be bothered to go searching for it.

Serpen(tine)s - with 'tine' being the point. Serpentines are cannons.
