What is the best way to fix a tear in a trouser pocket. I find that stitches come out. Someone told me that if you glue fabric onto the tear with fabric glue that this will work, by surely that will come undone in a wash. Has anyone any tips?

Stitches won't come out if done properly.

Would Copydex be any good, I can buy that now rather than ordering.
No copydex washes out. Umm in my experience, pockets tear when they are worn thin so stitches don't work.
Re line the pocket with cotton....use an old pillowcase cut out shape and stitch in over existing pockets. I have done this to oh`s pockets as he will keep keys in there and they get shredded..
Isn't English a weird language I read the above as Tear ( to cry).

You can buy iron-on pocket ends.
I have bought whole pockets in the past which you just sew in. Alternatively sew a piece of material inside the pocket over the tear.
I find taking the garment to the repair shop tends to work. I have stitched pockets in the past but you have to gather so much to get a decent bit to sew it's a right pain. Not that I'm a fan of sewing anyway.
