Hi
Despite New Years Eve celebrations I've nearly completed the grid! I'm just stuck on which 'dame' to put in 35down (4) SA_A
Can anyone help please
Thanks in advance and Happy New Year!

A quick Google of the appropriate theme words should get you there. It did me (never having been to a panto in my life!).

Thanks Laphria
I'll do that
Happy New Year!
Have a completed grid bar 40ac: ?ores. Want it to be 'bores', but can't justify it. Also have wiesbaden for 5d, and again can't fully justify the 'bad' part. Any thoughts?
Hi haggis58. It is "bores", as you say. The "a" in paunches is the extra letter, and it means punches, or pierces.
"Wiesbaden" is also right, and the "e" of "E's" is the extra letter, so you have to insert s+bade (invited) in Wien (Vienna). It's the second meaning of bid inChambers
Thanks Turnerjmw. Now justified.
Can anyone confirm that "IONE" exists - 23d
Can anyone help with the "quick google" suggested by Laphria..........it hasn't helped me at all!
Sara is a cook in dick whittington Voulez vous. I dont know if thats what you want as I dont know the question just the letters given by Ripper.

Voulez-vous, I agree with treeptops1's suggestion
Thanks Treetops1 and turnerjmw, that's exactly what I wanted!
Thanks for the "Sara" tip Laphria. Have now finished the whole thing. Great fun - as were the Christmas puzzles. Happy New Year to the Inquisitor team and to all of you lovely people whose help has preserved my sanity (hopefully!) in 2011.
Thanks turnerjmw
