'statim' seems to have two definitions; 1) immediately, and 2) firmly, steadfastly.

Can anyone suggest English words containing 'stat' that have the first definition as their root?

Thanks

The first to come to mind is the term "stat" which is an abbreviation for your Latin word statim, meaning "immediately" and used by hospital staff to indicate immediacy.. Don't have any for "steadfastly"... however the implication of immediacy is linked to steadfastly in such an order... in my opinion...
'Stat' in medicine appears to be the only example of immediacy.
But words beginning with 'stat' meaning 'fixed, or stationary are numerous. See here
"Sto" = I stand, in Latin. Statim is adverb from it.
Verb's principal parts: sto, stare, stavi, statum.
Derived words meaning "at once": instant
