I have a pair of really nice glasses but there is no lens in them. I am with specsavers as I wear glasses all the time. does anyone know weather specsaver would put my priscription lens in the glasses frame if I paid for the lens as the frame is a ex specsavers frame.

Yes I'm sure they would if the prescription was suitable.
Not all scripts can be used with all frames, but they will check it for you x
In my experience, opticians will not replace lenses in old glasses. If you bought them from Specsavers in the first place why not try for a completely new pair. You don't say how long you have had them for? If it is not very long they could be considered faulty...thus they should replace them Good luck
I agree with Bathsheba. Specsavers are individual business so some might be more accomodating than others, but they probably work to a company policy. If your frame is in good condition and as Bathsheba says is suitable for the ype of leneses, should be willing to do. I have just had new glasses frrom specsavers but due to being a specific type of varifocal, only certain rames were suitable. Good luck.
I worked for 20 years @ Melson Wingate optical factory in Bournemouth which is now `Scivens` and we often glazed to customers own frames so if there is a `Scrivens` near to you give them a try.
