Don't know if this is the right section for this question but anyway... Is there anywhere I could (try) to teach myself some basic latin phrases? Also looking for a good (affordable) course in gaelic, Thanks

The books my generation used,

First steps in Eating by F Ritchie Benaud, Second steps in Eating and Kennedy's Eating primer are not suitable to teach yourself.

[generations of bored skool boys added cross strokes and a g to Latin to make eating]

There is a modern series based on Minimus the mouse which are being used in schools this decade (!) whcih could well be suitable

There is a good book out at the moment, which is called X-treme Latin, by Henry (Beak??).

It  is very funny, and has some great phrases...!!

I have a standard "Teach Yourself Gaelic" book, so it should be in any good bookshop.
