Does anyone know what 'tu-boot' means when said after a sentence such as, 'it'll be a good weekend tu-boot

to boot-meaning in addition to (what was said before). No idea why.

Old English, Middle Dutch, Old Norse, and Old High German all have similar words, "bote", "boete", "b�t", and "buoza" respectively, meaning better or best. So the term "to boot", literally means "for the best" and has come to mean "besides", "as well", and "additionally".
