Enigma upon enigma! I'm still at a loss as to which
of the riddle books I must read to find the answers.
The title to EMB's story would be appreciated. Thanks
in advance!

Have you got the name from the 6 highlighted cells? It's one of her books
If you're still stuck google a few of the perimeter answers (don't think there were any alternatives for the 11 letter one which is hyphened)..also the one down the bottom right
There is a hint in a thread started at 12:25 yesterday in crosswords.
Matakari, who is EMB? I also don't understand the 'which of the riddle books' part. Have you got the theme in general?
The first letter of the author's name is in cell 31. As a general point, this was a challenging crossword but Pabulum deserves high praise for such a well constructed puzzle. To fit in 33 across/35 across was a stroke of genius.
Question Author
NACW, probably a false assumption, I thought it was Enid Blyton.
Novalis, I agree - 33/35 was terrific, and this was a very well-crafted, well-constructed puzzle. (Matakari's view may be different, I think he's missed out on some of the fun parts!)
Question Author
Perhaps my 11-letter perimeter letters are incorrect? I have:
?L?C??D?I?G
Thanks
C is wrong. The rest are OK.
Matakari, your C is wrong. That one is the hyphenated answer.
Question Author
All is not lost, the fun has now started! I've got the right author this time and the perimeter answers are falling into place! Thanks for the encouragement, NACW!
Thanks goodness for that, Matakari - I was wondering how astray you were going to go!
