I thought the story line would be better.
Very difficult situation. A bit disappointed.

Im surprised. I really enjoyed it, it was thought provoking. I wasnt expecting that ending at all.
weird for just a one off hour show, unless this is part of a new series of one off's in that time slot. I think they could have explored it further, horrible postion for someone to be in .
What channel was it on ? I may watch it on catchup.
Sam - Channel 4.

I recorded it, will probably watch it tonight.
I recorded it and was going to watch tonight but the review wasn't very complimentary about the ending so I may not bother. Don't like endings that leave questions unanswered.
^^^ I didn't see it and didn't want to.....but I do like to make up my own mind about programmes and not be swayed by "reviewers".
gingejbee I hate it if I've sat through a film or TV programme for an hour or more only to find it has a rubbish ending. If enough people say the same thing, I won't waste my time watching it.

Oh Barsel, please dont let me put you off watching it. It was a good little drama. It didnt leave you with lots of unanswered questions at the end.. just that the guilty person wasnt who I expected it to be.
Oh ok , I'll perhaps watch it tonight, (Tuesday) as you now have me intrigued.
....so, now, you're being influenced by somebody else's "review".....
It held my attention. Quite thought provoking actually. Awful situation.
I enjoyed it, not quite the right turn of words given the storyline but did feel it stopped rather than concluded.
Watched it last night and really enjoyed it. I assumed it was the Dad that was abusing her, so enjoyed the 'twist' at the end.
I thought it was excellent, and a realistic situation that many families can find themselves in.
Well acted, understated drama. It could have been dragged out in to a full blown series with the same ending but it was far more punchy being compact.
hereIam, I didn't think anyone was abusing her. Just a demonstration of how damaging suspicion can be.
I know naomi, that's why I put twist in inverted commas. I thought it was the Dad until she rang the unknown 'phone no. at his house. Thought it was very good.
I never thought it was the dad? It kept me on the edge of my seat -
and as I'm a woman with a daughter and a much younger partner it did make me uncomfortable. The ending was abrupt but not bad.
Meant to add I thought it was going to be the friend sending the texts.
