I am limited in reading German but a friend sent me a text in German and I have used a translator and it makes no sense - typed word for word below :-
"dankerschun mein frau liebschun"
Does anyone know what this is in English please ?

The text you quote is vaguely reminiscent of German, a bit like pidgin really, but not German. jno has it correct: Danke schön mein Frau, Liebchen. The meaning in English of this assumed correct text is "Thank you kindly my lady, dear (or even darling)" or words to that effect.

Ohhh, thanks Bednobs, translation kept throwing up 'wife' for frau....

and thank you Tuvok :)
frau does mean woman or wife, so Tuvok may be right - dear lady or something like that.

it might have been liebchen and Danke schön?
