I got a Rolex for my 40th Birthday, but not entirely sure I like the colour of the face, which is a kind of a rose colour with silver Roman Numerals. The watch is steel and white gold.

My partners say's the faces can be changed by returning the watch to the manufacturer. I've searched online, but can't find any info, has anyone else heard if this is possible and would it be expensive to do?

You could. If you take it back to where it was bought from, you could have the face replaced, but it wouldn't be cheap.
try the rolex site and look for local dealers take it to one of them to see if you can change it
Yes you can change the face on Rolex watches. You can add a face with diamonds! You are looking at $$$$, but it can be done.

Thanks, I suppose I could enquire about it at the jewellery shop it was purchased from. I'm not sure if the rose colour clashes with my skin colour a bit, silver may have looked better.
Buy a snide, the face changes colour after a few weeks
The shop where it was bought from'll be able to send it off and have the replacement face done for you. This is safer than sending it anywhere yourself.
Pity you don't like it Velvetee. It sounds rather nice.
I've got one, but wasn't keen on the strap. I grew to like it after a while though.

I'm not sure I like Rolex's, but my partner does. I suppose I should be grateful. He did originally order the one with I think the Oyster bracelet, but I prefered the traditional Jubilee bracelet.
Rolex's are lovely watches. You shouldn't have any trouble with it.
