Personal Trainer - Required Qualifications

I am training to be a personal trainer by doing the modules required at different times/different locations with YMCA to work around my course,

In order to gain the YMCA Personal Trainer Award I need to complete the 'Circuit Training'. Does anyone know if this is a MUST to be a qualified PT or is it just a requirement of YMCA?

To a potential employer, would a candidate without a circuit training certificate be just as likely to gain a job as long as a candidate without as long as they are REPS Level 3 qualified?

Thank you in advance.
