Claimed that there will be no need for checks at Dover after Brexit
and there will be no delays. But he admits now, he got it wrong,
But he got it wrong for the right reasons . Eh ! Is this some new Tory way of Squirming out of being wrong.

no no, he got it wrong but it'squote[ all the fault of the French] because he assumed they're treat Britons exactly the same as if they were still EU members and is shocked that they aren't.

don't know what happened to the italics there...
Be better if he admitted that the VONC for Johnson was actually statistically worse than the one for May that he claimed was catastrophic for her.
Leopards and spots and all that.
None of the mouthpeices had a clue what would happen did they but that didn't stop them spouting whatever they felt they needed to, making posters and printing on busses to get the gullible vote.

Farage "take control of our borders" and the number of migrants coming in goes up every year.

And Boris is here saying we'd all get cheaper gas bills because of it - alright mate.

Lies, damn lies and Brexit promises...
But Archibaldy, we got our sovereignty back, that’s the main(and for some only) thing!
Lol.

The E/U look to the UK as a third Country.
I think it is fast becoming a third World Country.Especially on the streets of London.
I'm amazed JRM has changed his mind since 2018 - I would have thought maybe 1818, though he probably haasn't changed his view of George III's agricultural reforms all that much.
So the French have taken back control of their borders? (well one of them at least)
Typical.
Was it JRM who said it would be 50 years before we saw the benefits of Brexit?

Only a Country as complacent as the UK could give up it's Border privilege so easily by voting Brexit then paying the price , waiting hours and hours to get out.
With a tradional stiff upper lip.
No longer "Rule Britannia", comes to mind.

As the reality of Brexit starts to bite and international travel increases post lockdown. Britons are about find out a few things about Border privilege and what happens when you lose it.
I quite liked getting my passport stamped recently ,one in Spain then in Gibraltar :0)
Are you referring to the same travesty of a human being who described the results of Teresa May’s vote of confidence as a “humiliation” and Blow-Jo’s worse result as a “triumph” - or some such brainless phraseology?
Thank you for this further evidence (as if it were needed) that you need to know absolutely nothing about anything to make a career in politics - just tell people what they want to hear in a loud confident voice.
A dash of shameless hypocrisy also goes a very long way.

Can just imagine you sitting in a bar in
Casement Square. Clutching your passport with two new stamps on , and can't wait to get home to show the grand kids.
You’re right, I was just sooooo excited at not being in the clutches of the bully boys of Europe, I could hardly contain myself, in fact I headed straight to the nearest shop and bought a litre of Grey Goose for £34 , then had my photo taken at the red phone box before walking over the air strip back to the car still clutching my stamped passport and wishing it was the blue one
