That's rich from the dictatorship chancellor! Scotland has free prescriptions, free school meals, added to universal credit when he took back the £20 a week, no university fees and much more. And MSP's didn't take a pay rise unlike the dictatorship MP's. Roll on the referendum

Yes indeed. Roll on the referendum.
Referendum done and won, maggiebee, I think you’ll have two choices. Say hello to sky high taxes or say goodbye to all your freebies. Yep. Bring it on.
Yawn-"once in a generation".Yawn-"once in a lifetime".Referendum?Just boycott it,maggie.Most of us Scots will.
//Referendum?Just boycott it,maggie.Most of us Scots will.//

Then there's every chance the result will go in favour of independence.
It'll probably be illegal anyway.

You do realise, maggie, where the funds for all that come from, don't you?
Perhaps so.But it will make the referendum a laughing stock.
judge: "You do realise, maggie, where the funds for all that come from, don't you? " - PMSL judge!
If your thinking it all comes from Westmisnter TTT/NJ then am not sure it all does- Scotland does have higher income tax rates which must raise a bit... and theyll argue about all theyve got and put in the UK pot over the years from there oil
due to her statement on her referendum bill the debate into scotlands drug deaths has been postponed.

Priorities and all that.
it's not "their Oil" though is it? They don't own the North sea they are part of the UK and the UK got the oil out and even if they leave, the UK will still have control of the north Sea.
"You do realise, maggie, where the funds for all that come from, don't you?"

Come on then, if you're trying to say none of the revenue is generated in Scotland, tell us more.
"and even if they leave, the UK will still have control of the north Sea."

Id expect that to be part of negotiations
"They don't own the North sea they are part of the UK and the UK got the oil out and even if they leave, the UK will still have control of the north Sea."

What is that claim based upon then?
bob: "Id expect that to be part of negotiations " - it's geography!
I think your oversimplifying things TTT... am sure theyd have a fair legal case
but we'd keep the bit that washes England and they'd keep the bit that washes Scotland as per standard sea rules, surely, nothing to discuss.
From "Scotland's Future" issued prior to the previous referendum,

"Is it Scotland's oil and gas?

The vast bulk of oil and gas in the UK comes from the Scottish part of the UK Continental Shelf and will be in Scotland after independence. Analysis tells us that in excess of 90 per cent of the oil and gas revenues are from fields in Scottish waters (based on well-established principles of international law)"

But around 90% of UK north Sea oil is from areas that come under Scotland TTT
