4. It's a question of semantics, or something like that. If you spell fridge as 'frige', it just doesn't make sense.

3. You don't understand evolution. Evolution causes branching, the new (mutation) not always replacing the original if they can co-exist.

E.g. Dogs evolved from wolves, both are still around.
