I'm 20 years girl studying engineering 2 year at deemed University. I lost mother at 8th class but my dad took care of me and he didn't marry again. I want to join Brahma Kumari's as I want detach life after seeing my father's pain after losing my mother and overthink about providing me comfort life. We had good financial state. After my mother loss we managed all the house chores by recruiting maid for each work. And Even my grandmother (father's mother) thinks about providing happy life for me. I understood that every stage of our life we will be attached to our relations and worry about them unnecessarily (When we are married -> we worry about having children and offer various prayers for birth of children, When we had children -> we start worrying about children studies and future and simultaneously deal with our partner's compatibility, When children settled in life -> we worry about their marriage, When children got married -> we start worry whether children are leading happy married life or not and we desire of having grandchildren and loop continues till death). And I also saw once of my family member having hard life for not able to give birth to children and Some members didn't even consider her as human and her husband divorced her for not having children, is the women respected only if she was able to give birth to children? After seeing this all, I was fed up with family attachments. Can't we escape from emotional trap? I feel that joining in Brahma Kumari's or Iskcon would solve my problem. Is it right decision?

I have no knowledge of the groups/sects? that you mention, so its really up to you. But I'm not sure wanting to escape or avoid certain parts of life is the right reason. You really need to look closely at your motivation.
Bear in mind that with all those worries that you mention and want to avoid, there can be great joy...whether it's finding and loving a lifelong partner, giving birth, seeing children grow up and become independent, playing and laughing with them. I doubt very much that your father regrets marrying your mother, or that your grandmother regrets any of the children she's had...including your mum.
Trust in love and follow your heart.
If you want a detached life, I think you should not join a cult or religion or sect.
You’re in India and from a Hindu family I presume. You’re young and I would advise you to finish your studies and pursue a career before making a decision about the direction you want your life to take. You may be pleasantly surprised. I wouldn’t advocate joining an offshoot cult of any religion, which is what this organisation is. That will bring it’s own difficulties.
Life is full of ups and downs. Anybody who hasn't had pain just hasn't lived long enough yet. It's important to enjoy the good times and recover as fast as possible from the bad times. Don't live your entire life worrying about avoiding pain, or you will miss out on what life is all about.
