can anyone tell me if a 2016 Pride colt deluxe sc710dx mobility scooter be dismantled enough to fit into the boot of a car, (Honda Accord). This would only be a one off happening. Thanks in anticipation for any helpful hints.

According to the owner's manual ...yes you can disassemble it. Not a job for someone who is not fairly strong and able with some mechanical aptitude and the tools. Here is a link to the manual read from page 34 onwards. It is even worth you printing it off if you have a printer. Not sure it is all going in the boot in one go, even when pulled apart....

Thankyou Togo, My reason for asking is I have a friend coming to holiday with me and he needs his scooter for getting about.
It might be easier to hire one at your destination?
It might be easy to dismantle but is there enough room in the boot to fit it all in?
Ta Twin ... now I see the reason for you asking, I think that Chelle has the answer. Could you not hire one locally? Most areas have the motobility centres to hand. Your pal may find it worth knowing that the scooter can be dismantled for transportation mind.
