AAAAAAAAAARRRRrrrrgggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....

When is Thanksgiving - or even Halloween???
You gotta be joking!!!
I just accumulate potential gifts during the year and stockpile them until some appropriate date. No need to put the sprouts on, either, as I don't eat them.
Halloween and bonfire night first.
Got to get Thatchers Halloween Party over first.
Enjoy your cider-filled evening, Gulliver...
As Jno says, I have things put aside that I have spotted through the year and bought in readiness.

Too subtle for gulliver...
Has the thread changed topic as usual??
No, it's been the furthest thing from my mind, but thanks for the reminder. Better make a start on the sprouts first before planning anything else.....!

I usually like to treat myself to a wall calendar about now too, it cheers up my kitchen wall.

Do people still do cards? I've not bothered in years.
I get my favourite "reading woman" calender in the Waterstones sale.
I send far fewer cards than I once did, also I have an ecard subscription which is useful.
Christmas but we have halloween yet
I went to a local store yesterday and they were filling a huge area with Christmas trees, decorations and everything else to do with Christmas
I actually started last week. It wasn't planned. Went into a shop, saw a few bits and pieces and thought they would be good for Christmas. So I bought them.
Started card making, cake is done and being 'fed'. Making a few gifts in between bigger projects. Be sorted by end of September apart from icing.
no i haven't - i only give money or vouchers usually and that will be nearer the date.
Christmas - humbug!
