My youngest son left home yesterday to join the Royal Navy.
He has been in training for months.
Thirty three military standard push ups, running like crazy, strong as an Ox, great team player, and, oh yes, a really nice person of whom I am so proud :-)
Just saying :-)

Thank you. He is a great guy. His problem which I admit, is that he was drifting day by day in a dead end job in which he was well thought of, but no ambition and no goals.
Just before Christmas he left the job and had an epiphany, threw his past and people behind him, and decided to use his life constructively.
I pray for him every night.
Last night he rang from Raleigh and said today they would be encouraged to give / adapt nicknames :-)
Oh yes he has to be, ''Scouse.''
We'll see :-)
