Please parse these for me.
1. Mount up evidence for origin of Greek myth. Ans Pegasus. I know pegasus was a mythical horse and a mount can be a horse but can't quite get there.
2.Continue with current wage, or make a fuss. Ans carry on (= continue, wage (as in war) and a fuss ) but where does current fit in, please?
3. It employs explosive, with terrible danger involved. Ans Hand grenade. It's an anagram of danger inside H and E which could be High Explosive but can't quite get there.
4. Obsessive collector's ring . Ans magpie (hoarder). Ebay has rings with magpies on them but is that all there is to it?
5. I'm given a part in pilot programme. Ans Aviator. I thought aviator and pilot were the same but can't see it .
6. Drama about murder victim begins long run. Ans marathon (long run). No idea .
7. Not defeated by one bishop having been taken. Ans unbeaten. I get the b for bishop and eaten for taken but can't see where the un comes from as it is one bishop not one French bishop.
