lets hope you are not disappointed Bobbi, i know you want to get away, isn't it Mr B's birthday around the time, but don't be surprised if Boris and his scientists put back the dates to later in the year - i hope they don't for all our sakes, this has been the most incredibly long lockdown and one i hope doesn't extend later than June 21st.

I won't go abroad again until we're properly back to normal. Having had foreign trips cancelled last year - and moved to this year - and cancelled again, I couldn't be bothered with all the uncertainty. Until then I'll spend my money in this country and hopefully do a bit to help our economy by supporting our tourist industry.

I'm going to keep quiet about what I'm doing or not doing. Not going to give any more fodder to the ABers who think foreign travellers are covididiots, lunatics, selfish, mad, anti-British etc etc and there's enough of them :-)

I don't think they're any of those things, Prudie ... but personally I can't be bothered with the uncertainty. That's all. I'd love wandering on a Caribbean beach right now - but it isn't going to happen. Next year hopefully.

I'd love to go abroad but like with restaurants and pubs and masks I just dont hink it will be a pleasant experience. I want to come back tanned and relaxed not with a big white patch on my chops and stressed from the airports.

back to Costa Teguise Naomi, we know a lot of people there and we've done most places like the Greek islands, Portugal,etc but we love the laid back atmosphere of CT

I've given up hoping for a holiday. We usually go away end of May, beginning of June, for our birthdays. He's got lots of presents this year.

My hallway is full of Amazon boxes. I can't even remember what I've bought :-)
