It tells you it is charging but there appears to be no way of telling what charge level it has.
I have RTFMd, I have googled, can't find it, thanks

I have the Nextbase 512; as far as I know there is no way of checking the charge-level on that. None of the dashcams I've owned have had a decent battery life, to the extent that it's a waste of time having them in the mode where they respond to a parking mistake by another car.
Found this in the Troubleshooting section, 3T.

Charging takes approximately 90 minutes and a full charge is indicated when the BLUE (charging) LED goes out.
That's not charge level, it's just full or not full.

stephen, yes, thanks I have the manual. I was hoping for some sort of indicator of how full it was like a mobile phone for example.
There is no indicator. Mine dashcam is hardwired - is that an option for you?
